Alabama

it touches Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, Tennessee Alabama gets its name from a river and the Native American tribe who lived near this state. The tribe was called the Alabama or Alabamee Alabama Native Americans, in 1541, was made by Hernando de Soto, a Spanish explorer. the Trail of Tears was The forced movement of the Native American tribes away from their homes. Cotton was a major crop in early Alabama history.  state bird is a yellowhamer , Camellia is the state flower ,
